Report to Texas

Report to Texas

November 2008

2008 IN TEXAS.

Here is a summary of the work accomplished during this last year through our intercessory connections.

February  In response to a word we received for Texas in October of 2007 we started the process of opening the four gates into the state.  We opened the South Gate of Texas in Victoria.

April – During the season when kings go to war we staked the headwaters of the major rivers flowing through Texas. This was in response to a word that was given that Texas would be realigned along the rivers.  The rivers were staked and cleansed for the Lord and His kingdom.

May – A team of leaders including representatives from Mississippi, Louisiana and Texas staked the mouths of the major Gulf Coast rivers from the Pascagoula River in Mississippi to the Rio Grande River of Texas. Clearly, our assignment for 2008 is to close the gates of hell and open the ancient gates to the King of Glory. This was accomplished through God’s people via righteous, prophetic declaration. Mississippi, Louisiana and Texas moved as one to complete this assignment May 17-21 by going to the most ancient and significant gates of our states.

May – We opened the West Gate of Texas at El Paso.  We met with leaders from Juarez, Las Cruces and El Paso in establishing God’s purpose over this three-fold cord.

July – We worked with California, Arizona, New Mexico and Mexico to reconcile along the entire border of our nations.  Believers from both nations gathered on July 4 to reestablish the Peace Treaty of Guadalupe Hidalgo signed 160 years ago.

August – We opened the North Gate of Texas at Granbury.  A significant time of reconciliation was established as we gathered with the Comanche Nation on Comanche Peak.  We wondered why this was called the North Gate of the state instead of Amarillo, Wichita Falls or others, but the Lord decreed as the “gate to the north.”  With our time of reconciliation we saw revival and restoration (especially in the form of rains) released into the northwest part of the state which had previously been the land most occupied by the Comanche Nation.  It was the land that witnessed the slaughter of thousands of horses and buffalo as a means of expelling the Comanches from Texas.

September – Hurricane Ike slams into the Texas Coast. Here are some thoughts that I wrote during that season: “The devastation is enormous.  Most of you already know the details of the storm and the amount of damage that has taken place – not only in Galveston and Houston – but points east (Port Bolivar, Winnie, Port Arthur, Beaumont and Orange to mention a few).  Damaging winds affected town and cities throughout East Texas as Ike made its way to the Northeast.  It is most obvious that we need to press in hard with prayer and to open up the channels of giving.  There are many outposts for help along the Gulf Coast.  Please use those that are familiar to you and your ministries.  The one place I am asking you to contact (because of their ability to network with the others) is Doug Stronger at www.somebodycares.org.

As we continue to provide aid to the victims (check out the needs list for Ike Relief under Prophecies/Decrees) we need to focus on the Lord’s desire to rebuild and realign the state and Gulf Coast according to His kingdom.  We are hearing tremendous testimonies of God restoring homes, businesses and lives.  We are hearing stories of unity, cooperation, healing and compassion.

The Lord did give me strong impressions that we are not to fear Hurricane Ike.  He impressed upon me that Ike, like Eisenhower (Ike) in 1944, will lead an invasion of the land that will bring revival, transformation and a shift in the “war.”  I know the Lord directed the storm and it will bring about His glory and the establishment of His kingdom.  I thought it was significant that landfall happened in the month of Elul (a time of ending and beginning) and that the date of landfall coincided with the ”Hosting His Presence” gathering in Colorado Springs.

In Colorado, a young man was reading from Joshua.  It was the portion of Scripture where Joshua was commanded by God to take a piece of stone (flint) and circumcise all those who had come into the new land.  As they did the reproach of Egypt would be rolled off of them.  As he read it, my heart leapt.  I knew immediately that this also referred to Ike.  The Hurricane was coming into what is often considered the womb of our State.  It was from this location as well as other ports along the coast that immigrants flooded in to establish the State.  The Lord prompted me to look up names again.  He directed me to Eisenhower (Ike).  Eisenhower is a German occupational name.  Eisenhower means: “Stone Cutter.”  God is calling us, through Ike, to a season of circumcised hearts and minds.  He wants to roll the reproach off of us.  He is establishing His kingdom.  It is a time to humble ourselves in His presence.  At the time of this revelation, Julie Meyers was singing and prophesying in the session at Colorado.  She decreed: “If we will cry for mercy more than change He will bring forth His glory.”

October – On the Feast of Tabernacles we invited the Lord to Tabernacle over Texas.  We simultaneously staked each of the 254 counties in the state. Over 200 persons participated in placing the 254 stakes into the ground.  High places of the enemy were replaced by the establishment of God’s kingdom.  The State belongs to the King and His kingdom. In March the Lord spoke to us (LeAnn Wall) that “when the counties are staked, there will be an earthquake which will release something good from within the land of Texas.”  It will confirm that God has moved upon us.  From the time of the first stake being planted on October 13 to the morning of October 31 ten (testimony) earthquakes were recorded in the state from the Panhandle to the DFW Metroplex.  I write in an email that morning the following: “I woke up from a sound sleep about the time of the second (and largest) quake.  I got up and went to prayer and Bible reading.  I did not know at that time that a quake had occurred. When I heard about it this morning I immediately rejoiced for the Lord had declared that an earthquake would follow the staking of the 254 counties of Texas which was finished on October 18. I declare that God is shaking the foundations of evil (Halloween) and establishing His new reformation (Reformation Day is today – when Martin Luther posted theses).  The land belongs to Him.  A PDF file of staking reports can be read under the Prophecies/Decrees section of the Texas website (www.txapn.org).

October – The apostolic coordinators of the thirteen states representing the former Confederate States of America gathered in Southaven, Mississippi and repented of broken covenant.  The war flag of the confederacy was dismantled and we reestablished our covenant as one nation under God.

November – On Monday, November 3, we gathered as states in Little Rock, Arkansas. The national reproach of slavery was removed and dismantled. Chuck Pierce decreed over us: Texas has the key to dismantle this and other strongholds.  The Sabine River region is the location.

November – On November 7-8 we gathered in Jasper and decreed the East Gate of the state of Texas open to the Lord. We took authority over the stronghold of slavery/racism. We mantled the region with His covenant blessing and fire! We released the true Jasper – the stone of many colors and foundation stone.  The worship time on Friday evening was a powerful time of honoring city leaders, pastors and intercessors.  The ethnic diversity of the city was well represented.  A powerful testimony was given by a young black pastor who had left Jasper eighteen years ago but returned at the Lord’s summons after the James Byrd murder ten (testimony) years ago.  His tearful witness of a community being united and restored was powerful.  The Lord had made it clear to us as a Council that Jasper was no longer to be identified with its past.  It was now to be known for its destiny in the kingdom as a multi-colored stone in the heavenly courts.

WHAT IS COMING?

2008 was a year for opening up gates and entering into new beginnings.  Now is the time to fully submit to our King and allow Him to birth a new wineskin in our lives.  It has been amazing to me how many friends and co-laborers in the Kingdom are experiencing new wineskins, new forms, new strategies and new vision for the days ahead.  Press forward with the Lord.  The Lord has wonderful things in store for our state.  We have been known as the Lone Star State or the “Proud” State.  It is time for us to recognize that all the glory goes to the Lord as the true star over Texas.  It is time for us to bow our knees before Him.

During the next few months, the Apostolic Council (see the About page on the website) will be ficusing its attentions on the heart of our state.  Our next meeting will be in Austin but the day has been set.  There has been a horrific drought pattern that has hung over the heart of Texas since June.  We are askintg the Lord to show us the cause.  We are asking Him for strategies of prayer.
